Songwriting and Composing
J-Hope frequently contributes to creating BTS’s music, and has participating in making at least a couple of tracks on every BTS album. He became a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) in 2020, a distinction held by very few idols.
NOTE: BTS albums distribute their credits a little differently than many other K-pop albums. Instead of showing who wrote lyrics, who composed the track, and who arranged it, it’s broken down into “writers” and “producers.” I assume that “writer” means someone who helped write lyrics and “producer” means someone who composed and/or arranged the song, but I do not have any definitive answer for that.
