ACTING:

2012: Dream High 2 (KBS), main role.  About a group of high school students at an art school who dream of being K-Pop stars.  Features other idols like 2 A.M.’s Jinwoon, Sistar’s Hyolyn, and T-ara’s Jiyeon.

2013: When a Man Falls in Love (MBC), supporting role. About the complications that ensue when a gangster falls in love.  He played the younger brother of the female lead.

2015: Dream Knight (Youku Tudou), main role. GOT7’s web drama.

NOTABLE VARIETY SHOW APPEARANCES:

2016: Celebrity Bromance (MBigTV) / A show that highlights friendships between male celebrities. Appeared with B.A.P’s Youngjae. (All episodes available on Youtube)

2017: Law of the Jungle, Episodes 293-298 (SBS) / A show similar to Survivor where celebrities go to tropical locations and try to survive in the wilderness (but there’s no elimination system).  Traveled to the Cook Islands with idols such as CNBLUE’s Jonghyun and Laboum’s Solbin.

2018:

  • I Can See Your Voice, Season 5 Episode 5 (MNET) / A music variety show where panels and celebrity guests try to determine if someone is a skilled singer based on their looks and mannerisms.  Appeared with other artists from JYP Entertainment such as Yubin (formerly of Wonder Girls), Wooyoung (2 PM), Baek A Yeon, and Wonpil (DAY6).

  • Hyena on the Keyboard (KBS2), Episodes 6 (see below), 7, and 8 / A variety show that highlights various singer-songwriters’ music composition process.  JB was one of the idol composers featured along with BTOB’s Hyunsik and MAMAMOO’s Hwasa.  He appeared with JYP founder and CEO Park Jin Young.
