BTS Discography

2017

“Spring Day” (February 13)

“Not Today” (double title track)

You Never Walk Alone
(Wings repackage)

“DNA” (September 18)

“Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” (follow up single)

Love Yourself 承 ‘Her’
(5th mini album)
After BTS finished promoting “DNA,” they were invited to perform at the American Music Awards. This marked the beginning of their rising popularity in the United States. “DNA” was the first music video by a K-pop group to reach 300- 600 million views. It was also the first K-pop boy group music video to have reached 700 million – 1 billion+ views. The “Mic Drop” remix wasn’t promoted in South Korea (although it was performed on some end of year music shows), but it furthered Western interest in BTS.  It was BTS’s first song to be certified gold by the RIAA.

2018

Love Yourself 轉 ‘Tear’
(3rd full album)

“IDOL” (August 24)

2020

“Black Swan” (January 17 – pre-release)

“ON” (February 21)

Map of the Soul: 7
(4th full album)
This is considered a full album, but it is also technically a repackage because it includes all songs from Map of the Soul: Persona. BTS also released a popular dance video for “ON,” which you can watch here.

“Dynamite” (August 21 – pre-release)

“Life Goes On” (November 20)

BE
(5th full album)
“Dynamite,” an all-English single, is perhaps BTS’s most successful song to date. It set plenty of records both in South Korea (on Gaon) and in the US (on Billboard), while the music video is breaking records for views and the song has won 20+ music show trophies.
