IMPORTANT!!! I have moved to Korea since I created this blog, and I have discovered that many videos – especially ones that are uploaded by fans with English subs – have been blocked on Korean YouTube and other websites. So unfortunately, I cannot watch most of these videos or verify the links anymore. This also means I cannot add as many videos as before because they simply are not available in my region. I’m sorry if you click on something and it’s no longer there, but there’s not really any way for me to check! – Katherine (Last updated May 2020)
Approximate Promotion Period (for “Boomerang”): March/April 2018
NOTE: Wanna One did not appear on any variety shows to promote “Light,” probably because they were preparing for their world tour. However, they did have a third season of their reality show which can be found at the bottom of the page. Click one of the show titles below to jump to the embedded video or link (along with a brief description).

A music variety show where the goal is to determine if someone is a good singer without actually hearing them sing. Each episode features several contestants who could be a “good” or “bad” singer. With the help of a panel, the guest artists try to eliminate the “bad” singers with tests based on visuals and lip-syncing. The aim is to have the last person standing be a “good” singer.

A popular South Korean talk show and variety show that often has themed episodes based on the guests that they invite. The “Sing My Song” segment is in the second half of the show and features various artists joining the MCs at a noraebang (karaoke bar). Along with the standard variety show interview and games, there’s a contest – the artists and the MCs they’re paired with get to leave when unsuspecting noraebang patrons choose one of their songs to sing. The earlier the song is placed, the higher the team’s ranking. The members appeared to compete on a “Winner’s Special” with So Chan Hwee, Davichi, and members of Highlight.

A popular variety show that shines the spotlight on one or more idol groups every episode. There are well-known corners that often involve dance challenges or aegyo, but the guests always play games or complete missions to earn prizes. This episode is celebrating the new Season 2 MCs, so the Wanna One members don’t appear much because there are a lot of idol guests. So, I’ve embedded a clip and linked the full episode.
