(Updated June 2020)
IMPORTANT!!! I have moved to Korea since I created this blog, and I have discovered that many videos – especially ones that are uploaded by fans with English subs – have been blocked on Korean YouTube and other websites. So unfortunately, I cannot watch most of these videos or verify the links anymore. This also means I cannot add as many videos as before because they simply are not available in my region. I’m sorry if you click on something and it’s no longer there, but there’s not really any way for me to check! – Katherine

When Monsta X was being formed on NO.MERCY, they also had an online variety series named Deokspatch. (I think it’s a spoof of Dispatch, which is a Korean news outlet especially focused on celebrities and idols.) Since NO.MERCY was a survival show and had a more serious atmosphere, Deokspatch was intended to show the more light hearted and fun side of the contestants. Once Monsta X debuted, they continued the segment for a couple of seasons. This season is classroom themed, and features them pretending to be students.

To be completely honest, I don’t really remember what this is… and the videos are blocked in South Korea, so I can’t watch them ^^””’ But from what I remember, they’re hanging out in a room and there are lots of games and small missions to do.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
After School Club
A Korean and English-speaking talk show for international fans and the overseas audience. While K-pop groups and idols discuss their latest releases and participate in various segments and games, a major corner involves “meeting” fans through a video chat and fulfilling their requests.
Many fansubbed episodes are blocked on Korean YouTube, so I hope this still works.
A popular variety show that shines the spotlight on one or more idol groups every episode. There are well-known corners that often involve dance challenges or aegyo, but the guests always play games or complete missions to earn prizes.
A talk show style segment where idol groups talk about their latest single and habits among the members.
