[POLL] MAMA 2017 Nominees: Who Will Come Out On Top?

Awards season is coming, and the MNET Asian Music Awards (hereafter referred to as MAMA) is kicking things off with a bang! It’s only been two days, and my social media feeds are already filled with people discussing the nominations. As I write this, fans all over the world are diligently trying to get on MNET’s bugging website and vote for their favorites.  I’m multifandom, so I’m having a really hard time choosing. Also, my computer seems to hate that site. So I thought I’d do something a little different!

I’m going to write a post with my thoughts of who will win at this years MAMAs, I’ll publish it closer to the actual ceremony. That way, we can see how the fan voting and November comebacks factor into the final results and I can make a more accurate guess. In the meantime, I thought it would be interesting to see what other people thought too! I made a poll where you can guess the winners, and I’ll use it as part of my later post.

There’s typically an award for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year.  MNET hasn’t officially announced the nominees, but from what I understand anyone nominated for an Artist Award or a Song Award is eligible for those respective categories (I assume the judging criteria is the same).  Album of the Year will be decided by the professional panel (40%) and the album sales (60%).
