2017
- EXO earned over 100 music show wins as a full group, the first boy group to do so and the second group to do so overall (after label mate Girls’ Generation). Only two other groups have achieved this (TWICE and BTS), and both did so in 2020.
- EXO won the Album of the Year Daesang prize at the MNET Asian Music Awards 5 years in a row (from 2013-2017), earning a Guinness World Record.
- “Ko Ko Bop” was the #9 most watched K-pop music video on YouTube outside of South Korea in 2017.
- EXO placed #2 on Tumblr’s 2017 Top K-pop.
- All nine members of EXO were ranked on Tumblr’s list of 2017’s Top K-Pop Band Members: Baekhyun at #8, Chanyeol at #9, Sehun at #10, Kai at #11, Suho at #12, Xiumin at #13, Chen at #15, Lay at #19, and D.O. at #29. (This list was out of 30.)

- “Power” was the first ever K-pop song to be played in the Dubai Fountain Show (and EXO even traveled to Dubai to see it).
- EXO was named on TIME Magazine’s list of 6 Best K-pop Groups.
- EXO performed at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.
- EXO was the first K-pop group to receive commemorative medals from the Korean National Mint.
- The members of EXO were appointed honorary ambassadors by the Korea Tourism Organization.
- “Power” was one of two K-pop songs played during the 2018 World Cup (the other was BTS’s “Fake Love”).
- EXO were the first non-royals to ever appear in the Burj Khalifa light show.
- EXO placed #2 on Tumblr’s 2018 Top K-pop.
- Several EXO members made it on Tumblr’s 2018 Top K-pop Stars: Baekhyun at #8, Chanyeol at #9, Kai at #10, Sehun at #11, Xiumin at #15, Suho at #21, Chen at #26, and Lay at #47. (This list was out of 50.)

- EXO were invited to the Blue House and met South Korean president Moon Jae In and American president Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka (who is a fan).
