Post-Disbandment:

Before going on Produce 101, Jaehwan was known for competing on several music themed variety shows before going on Produce 101. He first became known in 2012 when he appeared on Korea’s Got Talent (tvN). He also appeared on the pilot episode for SBS’s Vocal War: God’s Voice in 2016 and was the very first winner. Though he had no agency while he was on Produce 101, he signed a contract with CJ E&M while he was with Wanna One. He chose to remain with Wanna One’s agency Swings Entertainment after their disbandment. (Swing Entertainment belongs to CJ E&M.)

Kim Jaehwan made his debut as a solo artist on May 20, 2019 with the album Another and its single “Begin Again.” His discography includes two mini albums as well as several digital singles and OSTs. He participated in writing and/or composing all of the songs on his albums.
